Frequently Asked Questions
How does placing an order work?
We process wholesale orders primarily through email. Reach out to hotspellfarm@gmail.com if you would like to be added to the mailing list. We send out crop availability every Friday evening. The deadline to place your order is the following Tuesday morning (7AM).
What is your harvest and delivery schedule?
We harvest for our wholesale vendors each Tuesday. Orders go out for delivery each Wednesday.
Do you deliver?
Deliveries extend only to Travis County and Elgin city limits. If you’d like us to deliver to your business, we ask that you follow our $75 minimum requirement. Orders that do not meet this requirement will be subject to a $10 delivery fee.
Can I come visit the farm?
The farm is currently not open to the public, however, if you are interested in becoming a regular wholesale buyer, send us an email and we can coordinate a field walk with you.
Do you offer pickup locations?
Orders may be picked up from the farm directly or from our booth at the Sunset Valley farmers market on Saturday from 9am-1pm. We reserve the right to charge market pricing on orders that do not meet a $40 minimum for Sunset Valley pickups.
How is payment handled for Wholesale orders?
Cash or check or ACH are preferred. Checks must be made out to Hot Spell Farm LLC. We can also invoice you through Square. Credit card payments made through Square are subject to a 4% processing fee.
We will send both a paper and digital invoice with your vegetable delivery.
